Sensory Friendly Day for those with Autsism

February 15th ‪

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Join the Chilren's Museum of Houston

for Sensory Friendly Day, where children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences will have the opportunity to explore the Museum in a safe and accepting environment! This exclusive event will provide:

  • A comfortable, protected and accepting environment.

  • Sound reducing headphones available.

  • An opportunity for parents to make connections with other families.

  • Special needs information for parents.

  • Specialists on hand for extra activities.

Families may bring in outside food and drinks on Sensory Friendly Day (the Fresh Café will be closed).

Admission is just $5, and FREE for Members! To register, please contact Lydia Dungus at (713) 535-7238. Media Note: There’s a possibility news outlets will attend and photograph this event.
